About

A Proud American Veteran

Disabled Veteran of the Vietnam era; born in PA, but grew up more in Europe than the U.S.–my dad was in the USAF, and we moved a lot; lived in England, France, Belgium, and Germany; visited many other countries in Europe; graduated high school in France 1966; drafted in October 1966 while living in Belgium; 2nd generation Italian-American; moderately conservative; love dogs, cats, and horses, but am fond of most animals; divorced; no kids; my three cats are my children–seriously.  I love them as if they were my children.  Former professional wedding/portrait photographer and print journalist; Past-President of two Optimist International clubs;  straight–definitely straight!; fiercely patriotic and would again serve my country if given the opportunity to once again be in uniform and protect it from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Don’t mess with the United States.  It’s the greatest nation in the history of human existence, and I oppose anyone who wants to screw it up.

If this wasn’t the greatest nation in the world, why are so many people sneaking into it and trying to change it from their lofty places in Washington D.C.?  I don’t see a flood of immigrants trying to get into Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Cuba, Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, or any other country on the planet.  Immigrants, both legal and illegal, come here because this IS the greatest nation on Earth.

We have freedoms unknown by any other nation in history, but there are those who don’t want freedom; they want Socialism, control, and “The New World Order.”  They are enemies of my country, its ideals upon which it was founded, its founding fathers, and every American who ever served to protect not only freedom for us, but freedom for all; including the ungrateful French.

  1. Very interesting articles! I live in New York, but not the city proper. If anything, I am glad that I don’t. I am less than thrilled with the city’s mayoral choices…but perhaps they are better than Bloomberg?

Would you be interested in reading my blog? I’d be very interested in your feedback.

  3. You found me! You read my blog the other day, and left a very nice comment. I did moderate it, too. Thank you for following my blog. I remember you from before…and it was in July 2013 when you last encountered Gracie Prescott’s blog. 🙂
