Imagine. All these drunk drivers on the road, maybe at the same time you and/or your family is on the road. So many drunks driving a deadly weapon. A 2-3 thousand pound vehicle rolling down the road at 40, 50, 60, and maybe even 70 mph is, indeed, a deadly weapon. Even if the driver is 100% alert and a good driver, all he/she is doing is AIMING a deadly weapon.

This is just appalling and unbelievable. As I’ve said in an earlier post, Mexicans do not give a damn about driving drunk. They think it ‘s macho. Many of them kill (actually, murder) innocent people.

The drunk drivers need to face stiffer penalties. There isn’t a licensed driver alive who has NEVER heard, “Don’t drink and drive.” So, they cannot claim ignorance, even though they really are ignorant.

Here are my suggestions:

First offense, no bodily injury, no loss of life: Loss of driver’s license for one year. $5,000 fine. 1,000 hours of community service.

First offense with bodily injury: Loss of driver’s license for two years, $10,000 fine, 6 months in County Jail.

First offense with loss of life:  Loss of driver’s license for ten years, $25,000 fine, minimum 5 years in state prison.

Second DUI offense of any kind above: Permanent loss of driver’s license, $25,000 fine, minimum 15 years in state prison.

Third DUI offense of any kind above: Three strikes, you’re out! Permanent loss of driver’s license, minimum 40 years in state prison.

You think these are too harsh? Let’s hear you say that if your family is killed by a drunk driver. God forbid that ever happens.

There should be NO parole. All sentences served for the entire length.

There is NO excuse for driving drunk. None!

It is a complete waste of time to advertise do not drink and drive warnings on TV. The Mexicans do not give a damn, and it is their culture to drink themselves into a stupor then drive a vehicle. To them, it is the “macho” thing to do.

Count how many Mexicans/Hispanics are listed above. Overwhelmingly Hispanic.
