I have posted my opposition to the “gay” lifestyle several times on this blog. I still oppose the lifestyle, but how God will deal with some of the gays is an answer I do not have.
You see, I have a cousin who I care for, and he has been gay for decades. Yet, he also is a regular church-goer, and really has a good heart. He is family, and I love him as a family member. Be assured, I am straight, always have been and always will be.
He is a good man, and even though his lifestyle is “an abomination into the Lord”, I cannot believe God would condemn him. My cousin, in many ways, is a better man than me. It’s been many years since I’ve been to church, and, due to my disability, getting to church on my own is a very difficult journey.
So, I face a dilemma. On one hand, I oppose homosexuality, and, on the other hand, my cousin is a good man. And I love my cousin. So, how God will deal with him is a question I cannot answer. I’m glad I don’t have to decide.
Anyone have such a dilemma as mine?
