As I look at the world today, especially the United States, I hang my head in shame and despair. Tis a sad world we live in today. Tis a sinful, despicable, shameful nation I live in today.
When I was growing up during the 1950’s, there were no terrorists. There was no war following the truce in Korea. Television and movies were not vulgar and disgusting. Children did not bring guns to school. Fifteen-year-old girls did not talk like a vulgar-mouthed sailor or truck driver. Boys did not wear their pants below their butt holes. Youngins did not knock people out on the street for no reason other than for kicks. People were not allowed to illegally enter this country. The presidents did not bypass Congress to pass laws using Executive Orders. People in politics or related to politicians did not publicly say they have never been proud of their country. First Ladies did not spend millions and MILLIONS of tax payer dollars to pay for all their vacations (which were far fewer than 16 like Michelle Obama took). The presidents were actually qualified to be presidents. Homosexuals did not march in public. Homosexuals did not insult Christianity by getting married in Christian churches. Automobiles actually had style and personality, and they weren’t made of plastic, aluminum, and tin. Presidents did not seal their educational records to hide things. Presidents didn’t apologize to the world for the U.S.A. People didn’t have to lock their doors. People didn’t fear either the police or the military. People actually said ‘you’re welcome’ and not ‘no problem’ instead. Boys dressed decently when taking a girl on a date. The lyrics of songs could be understood. Today, the lyrics are either drowned out by sounds that somewhat resemble music or are screamed so loudly it is impossible to understand what the hell the singer is singing. Television executives put programs on TV that were 1) intelligent, 2) entertaining, and/or 3) newsworthy. Today, the stupider programs are the more the public is drawn to them, which raises the question: how stupid are people in this country today? Morons? The programs are moronic.
High school students actually EARNED and DESERVED their diplomas. Today, students are given diplomas even if they are as dumb as a goat just so the schools can show high numbers of graduates so they can continue to receive funding. The intelligence of high school students today is deplorable. They don’t know the difference between 1) too and to, 2) lose and loose, 3) your and you’re, 4) its and it’s, and so on and so on.
Students knew how to solve math problems using their brains, and a pencil. No calculators were in the classroom. Students actually had to research the library to do homework. Today they can sit on their lazy asses and look on the Internet for the answer or go to Yahoo Answers hoping someone else will give them the answer.
Parents raised their children the way they SHOULD raise them, teaching them respect for their parents, respect for others, and that doing bad things will result in punishment, including getting their butts whacked, not told “time out, Billy”, which teaches Billy not a damn thing.
God and prayers were included in school. No president ever said this was no longer a Christian nation. Christmas scenes were not taken down because some jerkoff was offended.
There are so many, many things about the past, the years between 1954 and 1965 that made this nation a much, much better place to live.
I am ashamed of my nation. I am ashamed of the younger generations. I am ashamed of the president. I am ashamed of the general public.
God as the being who was worshiped has been replaced by Satan and sin.
God is angry. I truly believe it won’t be much longer before He comes to put an end to this sinful nation and this sinful world.
When He DOES come, it will be too late to change your ways then. It will be too late to save your sorry asses.
I am so sad. I wish I could go back to those good ole times.
If you agree, ‘like’ and/or comment.
I hope life is a pendulum and the pendulum will very soon start swinging back.
